OpenVINO Object Detection Works with Nx

OpenVINO Object Detection Plugin is integrated with Nx Witness and Powered by Nx products via the Nx Server API. Once installed in the Nx Witness plugins folder, users can configure its settings to designate areas and lines via the Plugins tab in the desktop client. When an object is detected, the plugin sends corresponding metadata to the Nx system which appears in the Objects tab in the client.

OpenVINO Object Detection Capabilities

OpenVINO Object Detection Plugin brings basic video analytics functionality to standard IP cameras such as line crossing, loitering, and motion detection. The plugin is based on the OpenVINO toolkit by Intel and designed for low-end Intel CPUs. An open-source plugin, it is an example designed to demonstrate what a video-analytics plugin could look like in Nx Witness and other Powered by Nx products.
