Working with Nx Witness > Cameras and Encoders Management

It is extremely easy to configure Cameras in Nx Witness.

The following Camera Settings are crucial for the application to function properly:

•Recording schedule (see "Setting up Recording Schedule")

•Authentication (the default password has been changed for cameras). See "Configuring Camera Authentication ".

IMPORTANT. Most camera parameters can only be configured by Advanced Viewer (permission level is required). A basic viewer can access camera configuration, but cannot make any changes. See the "User Management" section for more.
