Working with Nx Witness > Nx Witness Quick Start

This section provides recommendations on system settings for Nx Witness to be configured properly.

If the system contains multiple Servers, it may be necessary to ensure they are merged in one system properly. See "Configuring Multi-Server Environment".

First, a sufficient number of Licenses should be obtained and activated (see “Obtaining and Activating Nx Witness Licenses (Admin Only)”).

Then, Storages on each Server should be configured (see “Configuring Server Storages (Admin Only)”).

All Cameras should be properly set up (see “Camera Management”). Same with Recording Settings (see “Setting up Recording Schedule (Admin Only)”).

Once completed, it becomes possible to create multiple Users, configure Layouts for them and more.
